Well, racing this weekend - came just outside the top 150 (out of 504 crews) - On reflection, a fare, but an annoying result, we could (maybe) have put the cat amongst the pigeons - and posted a really good score! but alas we didn't...reasons>?
1) CRASHING!! you would hope that a great BIG RED BUOY with a FLASHING LIGHT on top would be noticeable - apparently not...
2) Steering? well to be honest, I cannot moan too much - OK yes I can...GET IN THE STREAM! We actually did OK with steering.
3) Blade gearing - I lost a little plastic clam (google it - and I am sure you will still not understand what it is) about 2 minutes into the race - which meant my blade was geared for a FATTY in an VIII - not a lightweight in a coxless IV - ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh dear god, my back hurts!
4) overall, i was pretty pleased...
as for other parts...
I have two people at the moment I am 'seeing' - but both went incredibly quiet over the weekend - Personally, mail order is the only why...why cannot I find Thai attractive - it would be easier in the long term...this dating 'thingy' SUCKS big style!
